Superior Grocers currently operates as one of the largest Independently-owned grocery chains in Southern California. On Time Consulting Services, Inc. upgraded them to LSF 9.0.1.x on IBM’s iSeries Platform from their previous 8.0.3 Lawson Software S3 Financials and Procurement applications.
In addition to the upgrade, On Time Consulting Services, Inc. designed and delivered the following interfaces using ASP 2.0 Webforms and Microsoft's SQL Server 2005 Sequel Server Integration Services (SSIS):
· Payroll Journal Entry from KRONOS Workforce Central 6.1 to Lawson Software GL
These interfaces were Superior Grocer's first experience with Microsoft's SSIS packages in MS SQL Server 2005. For this reason, proper security was deployed on the source system servers and the SQL Server instance of the SSIS packages. Upon successful completion, email notifications are sent to the AP and Payroll accountants. Upon failure, email notifications are sent to the appropriate IT personnel, who can correct the cause of failure. This upgrade project began in April 2009 and successfully concluded in September 2009.
Mentor Corporation had converted from Lawson Software®'s Order Entry, Accounts Receivable and Billing software in the early 2000's to JD Edwards. This move gave them an integrated financial and manufacturing application solution. However, Mentor chose not to convert all of it's legacy billing data, and left it in Lawson Software's 7.0.8 applications, as this data was only necessary for archival purposes.
Mentor Corporation engaged us to build a replica of the current Lawson Software schema on SQL Server 2005, using Integration Services (SSIS), .Net ASP forms and Reporting Services (SSRS) reports, which resembled Lawson Software's 7.0.8 AR invoice inquiry forms, invoices, and credit memos. We wrapped them all in a two-tiered menu application, which allowed us to define LDAP security by form or report. This project allowed the Mentor Accounting department to keep the look and feel of Lawson Software in modern technology, without retraining. We delivered this project on time and on budget in August 2009.
We were also engaged to migrate an Informatica® data warehouse from HP Oracle 8i Unix to Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Server on Microsoft Server 2003.
